HR Consultant
You are an approachable HR professional who enjoys supporting employees and managers with a wide range of HR-related questions. You like collaborating with colleagues on challenging topics such as employment conditions, onboarding and offboarding, employee wellbeing, and absenteeism, and you enjoy combining operational work with an advisory role.
Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees regarding employment conditions, HR policies, and legal position questions
- Advising managers on absenteeism support and reintegration processes
- Supporting parental leave requests, employment conditions, and personnel matters
- Advising managers on HR and employment-related topics
- Conducting employment condition discussions, onboarding (welcome) conversations, and exit interviews
- Conducting absenteeism and performance/career development conversations
- Contributing to the development of HR themes: “Inflow, Throughflow, and Outflow” and “Integrity & Undesirable Behavior”
- Organizing onboarding/introductory days for new employees
What do we ask from you?
- Bachelor’s level (HBO) working and thinking level, e.g., in Human Resource Management or Personnel & Labor
- Experience working within a municipality or government organization
- Basic knowledge of collective labor agreements (CAO), employment law, and social legislation
- Strong communication skills, able to switch easily between employees and management
- Careful, solution-oriented, and confident in providing advice
- Approachable, reliable, and service-oriented
- Knowledge of AFAS Profit is a plus
- Ability to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
