Cybersecurity Reporting Specialist

We ARE Renewables is looking for a Cybersecurity Reporting Specialist for one of our clients in the energy sector.
As a Cybersecurity Reporting Specialist within Corporate Cybersecurity, you are the substantive authority on cybersecurity reporting, governance, and control. Your primary focus lies on preparing high-quality, audit-style management reports, in which you clearly articulate findings, explicitly identify risks, and provide concrete courses of action for the Board and management.

Task and Responsibilities
  • You have in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, internal control, and auditing.
  • You are strong at writing audit-worthy reports with clear findings, risk analyses, and action perspectives.
  • You analyze complex issues and translate them into unambiguous and politically relevant insights.
  • You identify structural bottlenecks and know how to translate them into concrete improvement actions.
  • You communicate carefully and persuasively with diverse target groups, from the Executive Board to specialists.
  • You work in a structured, independent manner, with an eye for quality and consistency.
  • You are a natural sparring partner and coach for colleagues on content and working methods.
Key Requirements
  • University-level working and thinking skills, preferably in Business Administration, IT, Information Security, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in audit, internal control, business control, compliance, or risk management (preferably at a Big4 organization or similar environment). So, we are not looking for a security expert, but an audit expert.
  • Extensive experience in drafting (audit) reports and management accountability.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, with demonstrable experience in complex and administrative communication.
