Business and Implementation Consultant
Job Title: Business- & Implementatie Consultant EO
Role Summary
We are currently sourcing for an experienced Business & Implementation Consultant to support a large-scale digital transformation program within a complex organization. In this role, you will drive the implementation and adoption of a new GIS-based system, working closely with business teams, IT, and key stakeholders. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth transition, user adoption, and long-term success of new processes and tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and adoption of a new system within assigned business units (approx. 100 employees)
- Design, develop, and coordinate the full training program (kick-offs, e-learning, and hands-on sessions)
- Deliver training sessions and support end-users during the transition
- Coach and guide key users, enabling them to act as subject matter experts
- Ensure quality and consistency of training materials and documentation
- Implement new processes, workflows, and ways of working across teams
- Engage with team leads and stakeholders to monitor progress and drive adoption
- Organize and deliver information sessions for end-users and stakeholders
- Support post-go-live activities, including user guidance, issue tracking, and continuous improvements
- Collaborate closely with IT teams, implementation leads, and other consultants
Requirements
- Proven experience in large-scale transformation and implementation projects within complex organizations (business, process, and IT combined)
- Strong training and communication skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in stakeholder management across multiple levels of an organization
- Ability to drive change adoption and understand the impact of transformation on daily operations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to support process improvements and system enhancements post go-live
- Proactive, independent, and results-driven working style
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments
- Pragmatic and flexible approach in dynamic project settings
- Basic knowledge of utility/grid processes or relevant industry experience is a plus
- Willingness to work mostly on-site (approx. 4 days per week) during training and post-go-live phases
